I love Psalms! Probably not a big surprise since my writings are of a similar nature: poems, prayers, praises. But Psalm 121… oh, that’s a good one! “My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth!” How can you be anything but filled with confidence when you proclaim this! The Maker of the heaven and earth is MY helper!!! The all-powerful, all-knowing LORD who watches over us ALWAYS! Never slumbering, never failing, always faithful LORD. Keeping us from harm, watching over our life… intently!
My favorite thing to ponder about the Lord is we are always on His mind. ALWAYS! His thoughts never stray from us. He never gets distracted or confused. He doesn’t have to check His cell phone quick before He gives us His full attention. Nope. Nothing like us distractible humans. We are His prize, possession, joy, His magnificent creation! He adores us and loves us so much that we are in His every thought. WoW! Wrap your mind around that! Do you stop and think about how absolutely precious and important you are to the Creator?! Well, if you haven’t ~ I hope you take the time to ponder it now.
